Last week Rapattoni introduced mobile apps that allow you to revise your listings without having a computer with you. The Rapattoni mobile apps work on both Apple and Android phones and tablets. While the app does not allow you to enter a listing it is a quick way to revise price, status and remarks or to upload photos. After testing the app myself, I think that our MLS Touch app delivers a more appealing and better looking customer report via e-mail, but the Rapattoni app has value for quick revisions. I'd suggest you get familiar with both apps and use them each for their best attributes. The Rapattoni mobile app will allow you to post price changes immediately so that buyer brokers get your changes quickly. In the not too distant future, I expect to be able to tell you that similar level listing revision features have been added to MLS Touch, but not today.

There are many benefits to assigning your Lockbox to a listing. With the box assigned, it will be much easier to locate the appropriate box on the website when looking at your list of Lockboxes. This will also allow the Lockbox access report to show the assigned listing address.

Rapattoni MLS News
We are pleased to announce that the new Rapattoni MLS Mobile App is now available in the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
The new Rapattoni MLS Mobile App provides access to the Edge MLS mobile interface using a native app on iOS and Android devices. It includes all features from the browser-based Edge MLS interface and is available as a free download by clicking the images below. What does this mean to you as a VMLS user? It means you may now edit your listings from a mobile device. Quickly correct a spelling error in remarks, update listing status, change price or many other changes.
Some MLS users have reported issues with their Avast antivirus software detecting errors or preventing reports and search pages from opening due to a potential threat. Rapattoni has investigated the issue and determined that it is being caused by the Avast antivirus program inadvertently detecting a threat that does not exist.
Please note that this issue stems from the Avast antivirus software and will need to be corrected on their end. As a workaround, turning off the Avast antivirus software or replacing it with a different antivirus program will allow the MLS to operate properly.

H.R. 3700 was passed by the U.S. House 427-0. Despite passing with NO OBJECTIONS, the U.S. Senate has not acted on H.R. 3700.
This legislation provides significant benefits to taxpayers, homebuyers and the real estate market by:
- Removing a burdensome and expensive FHA Condo approval process
- Reducing FHA restrictions on the number of condos available to homebuyers
- Permanently streamlining Rural Housing Service loan processing
