Rev. Jamielee Appointment Update
It was announced in worship on October 31st that Rev. Jamielee has been appointed 1/4 time by the Bishop as the lead pastor of Spirit of Hope UMC in Englewood. For the past four years, she has been at WPUMC for 3/4 time - but now that she is fully ordained, she is eligible for full-time clergy status in our conference. She will remain 3/4 time here at Wash Park, and will still be present in worship on Sundays, as well as continue to lead our youth program.
Rev. Jamielee and Rev. Sandi are excited about the new possibilities this connection might offer, and look forward to creative ways of sharing ministry. The Staff Parish Relations Committee and One Board support this appointment, and are hopeful this can be a fruitful partnership.
