Free to Be: Better
 Ephesians 4:25-5:2
All are welcome! Sign Ups are no longer required for worship.

We've made a change in our mask mandate for worship/building use at WPUMC--We now require all individuals 2 years and older wear masks inside of the building, including our sanctuary, regardless of vaccination status.

Additionally, when the weather is nice, we will encourage BYOC (Bring Your Own Coffee) Fellowship time after worship in the courtyard!
Wouldn’t You Like to Make Dream Come True?
If you could, would you help make a dream come true for a:
·  Teacher who works with underprivileged children in Commerce City?
·  Two parents with four children who share one bedroom?
·  An essential worker in a senior nursing care facility?
·  A single mom with three children who all shared a single room in her father’s house?
Click here to learn more about Stephany’s story.

These families are all future or current Habitat homeowners who are working hard to make their dreams come true. But these families couldn’t make these fantasies a reality without your help and the support of Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver. Remember, Habitat homes are not given to homeowners; instead, partner families help build their homes with volunteers and Habitat staff, attend classes to prepare for homeownership, and then pay an affordable mortgage.

In 2021, WPUMC is raising money and building a home in the Aria Denver development, which is a multigenerational mixed-income community just north of Denver's Highlands neighborhood. This year we are holding an online auction from September 11 – September 22, 2021. The profits from this auction will go directly to the building of an Aria home. Some of the items that will be auctioned off include:
·  Up to five nights at a private Breckenridge Blue River four-bedroom house adjacent to wetlands, ponds, streams, national forest trails with views of Mt. Quandry
· Darling notecards handmade by the children in our Vacation Bible School
·  A stay in a beautifully remodeled high-end condominium located East Valley Timber Falls that accommodates 10 people
·  A striking metal sculpture for your garden or yard
·  Gift certificates to Washington Park Grille, which is with walking distance of the church

More details will be coming soon, so mark your calendars. There is still time to add items to our auction! Email Carol Nelson at to see how you can get in on the fun!

This year, we're adding a BINGO card into the mix -- with prizes to be presented on Rally Day, September 12th. Additionally, we are taking up a collection for the grand prize . . to be awarded to the local non-profit or mission of the winner's choosing. Help us "fill the bucket" with your spare change - you can send in donations to the church as well.

As we look toward the fall and continued in-person and online worship--we need your help! We need "beta testers" for an experiment in online ushering/hosting of our worship services. We're looking for people to be willing to chat on Facebook and Youtube during our live stream and helping provide hospitality and follow-up for our online congregation.

If you're interested, please contact Rev. Jamielee at
