Live the Adventure: Seeking Wisdom
1 Kings 2: 10-11, 3: 6-14
All are welcome! Sign Ups are no longer required for worship. We have enough space for our summer crowd to still gather inside and practice physical distance from others.

We've made a slight change in our mask mandate for worship at WPUMC--starting yesterday (7/18), we have lifted the requirement for vaccinated individuals to wear masks in the sanctuary. We had been still requiring them, especially for singing, as the bio-aerosols emitted during have a high risk of spreading the COVID virus.

However, because our in-person attendance in the summer is lower, there is plenty of space between family groupings, and because our swamp cooler and bell tower fan system disperse the air in the sanctuary--we have decided to trust the science that says that vaccinated individuals are at very low risk, even unmasked.

Please note that we still require masks for unvaccinated teens and adults.

Additionally, when the weather is nice, we will encourage BYOC (Bring Your Own Coffee) Fellowship time after worship in the courtyard!
7/27 Food Trucks will be Rag Tag Bistro and Kona Ice
Once again, we will be collaborating with Noland Orchards to provide delicious Palisade Peaches for our fundraiser. Twenty pound boxes will be sold for $37 and contain about 38-40 peaches. Print this order form or click the button below to place your order online by Friday, August 6th. Peaches will be available for pick up on
Sunday, August 22nd from 11 am.-1 pm.

*We are looking for volunteers to help unload the peaches on Aug 21st and distribute them on Aug 22. Contact the church office if you'd like to help!

Vacation Bible School Summer 2021
We are pleased and excited to announce that Washington Park United Methodist Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School ( VBS) this summer. With much discussion, planning and educating ourselves with COVID-19 safety standards and precautions, we feel secure and safe in hosting VBS for kids this summer in our church. We have had a successful preschool year and will use standards and precautions outlined by the state as we did so with the preschool program. Here are the highlights

 Knights of the North Castle
