Members, Friends & Colleagues,

My message this week is geared toward area businesses. If your business has experienced any loss from the COVID-19 Pandemic, please submit your pre-qualification information for the Main Street Relief Program. This application must be completed by May 29th. Additional information and a timeline for the remainder of the application process is below.

Most industries/sectors were addressed by the governor last week. If you have additional questions, please reach out to me before Wednesday and
I'd be happy to bring your questions to our partners at the state of New Hampshire.

I hope that everyone is able to relax over the Memorial Day weekend. Please take a moment to remember those who have fought for our country so that we are able to weather storms such as the current situation, and please continue to support individuals and businesses in our community.

Main Street Relief Program
This relief program will provide simple, fast, fair relief dollars where they are needed. It will allow businesses to have flexibility in paying bills, mortgages, etc. By focusing on small businesses, it will create a fair process across all market sectors. It is administered by the DRA with a simple grant application.

Last Friday, Governor Sununu announced $595 million in new funding commitments for areas across New Hampshire affected by the COVD-19 public health crisis. All available funding opportunities are listed below.

This is a flyer you can customize and post to inform your employees and customers about the steps you are taking to protect against the spread of
COVID-19.
These are common steps recommended by the CDC, states, and local jurisdictions, as of May 18, 2020. This is not a substitute for guidance from state or local health departments, so please consult those resources as well.

The form and instructions inform borrowers how to apply for forgiveness of their PPP loans, consistent with the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). SBA will also soon issue regulations and guidance to further assist borrowers as they complete their applications, and to provide lenders with guidance on their responsibilities.

Members - Register for your Free Advertisement in the Caledonian Record!
The Chamber has been offered an opportunity to promote its members through a 6-week advertising campaign with the Caledonian Record in partnership with Casella Waste Systems. This opportunity is FREE to the first 210 Chamber members who sign up via the form below.

The Caledonian Record will run a full page “Always Essential” themed advertisement featuring 35 different businesses each week via a business card sized text ad. The ad series will run every Saturday for 6 weeks beginning Saturday, May 23rd. The feature (which will look similar to the sample ad below, will give businesses an opportunity to feature new hours, updates, or a “see you soon” message, along with contact information. This special opportunity will also be visible in the digital version of the Caledonian Record.

It’s easy! Simply, sign up at the link below. Each week 35 businesses will be featured. You’ll receive an email before your add is featured so you’ll know it’s coming. Once again this opportunity is FREE to Chamber members but limited to 210 advertising spots.

Ad submissions are included on a first come, first served basis. Want a chance at next weeks publication? Submit your ad by Thursday, May 28th at Noon.

Reopening Task Force
Governor Chris Sununu formed of the Governor's Economic Re-Opening Task Force, which will develop a plan and oversee the state and private-sector actions needed to reopen New Hampshire's economy while minimizing the adverse impact on public health.
