Physicians CareConnection Holds Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner


April is volunteer appreciation month! So, we'll be highlighting just some of the fantastic stories our volunteer-based affiliate, Physicians CareConnection (PCC), has to share.

You're Invited! CMA's Annual Celebration | Around the World for a Night - All Physicians Welcome! Open Air Event!

Get your tickets today for the return of CMA's Annual Celebration on Saturday, May 21 at Huntington Park from 7-10:30 pm! This year we are taking our guests 'Around the World for a Night.' This event is open air.

Your evening itinerary includes:

  • Sampling food and drinks from each continent. 
  • Connecting with the ‘locals’ (your friends and colleagues) whom you may not have seen for a while).
  • Dancing to live music performed by Mad Funk 8 (this band includes one of your own, Dr. Alan Sacolick!)

Public Health Advisory: Health Advisory Hepatitis of Unknown Etiology


Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recently issued a health advisory to notify clinicians and public health authorities of a cluster of children identified with hepatitis and Adenovirus infection. Columbus Public Health (CPH) and Franklin County Public Health (FCPH) recommend that clinicians consider Adenovirus testing in pediatric patients with hepatitis of unknown etiology and promptly report such cases to public health.
