PCC President Isi Green Speaks at Columbus Metropolitan Club on Maternal and Infant Health

Isi Ikharebha Green, President of Physicians CareConnection (PCC), recently participated in a panel at the Columbus Metropolitan Club titled Outdated Funding, Lost Lives: Why Ohio’s Babies and Birthing Parents Deserve Better.

The discussion centered on the need to rethink traditional funding models to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in Central Ohio.

Leaders, including Green, highlighted how participatory grantmaking, trust-based philanthropy, and low-barrier funding for grassroots organizations can create better, faster results for nonprofits working to support mothers and babies in the region.

As Central Ohio strives for more effective solutions, Green's contributions to the panel emphasize the vital role of advocacy and innovation in transforming how human services are funded.

This important conversation promises to drive future progress in maternal and infant health care across Columbus.
