Physicians Urged to Join CMA Leaders in Asking Legislators to Block End Run on Vaccination Restrictions

This week members of the Ohio House of Representatives who support rolling back vaccination requirements for ALL vaccines announced a legislative effort to bypass the committee hearing process and force HB 248 to be brought to the floor of the House for consideration.

This by-passing of a committee is called a discharge petition. The CMA is on record opposing HB 248 and this week Public Policy leaders, Drs. Falcone, Costa, and Cotton, sent a letter to Central Ohio House members asking them to not support the discharge request.

Time is short and CMA members are encouraged to communicate directly with these legislators about this bill as soon as possible.

Go to the "Who Represents Me" tab on this page to identify the legislator who represents you.
