Together Counts More Than Ever: COTS Membership Soars During Pandemic

The Central Ohio Trauma System (COTS) has been coordinating trauma, emergency services, and emergency preparedness since the late 1990s and now offers a neutral ground for care coordination and collaboration for 36 of Ohio’s 88 counties. During the pandemic, COTS membership has grown by 13 hospitals and free-standing emergency departments and 14 public/private first responders. Culinary Medicine Community Potluck

The next Culinary Medicine event and it will be in person on June 15 at the CMA offices. The theme of this month is reunification and sharing our favorite dishes. We are asking people to bring one of their favorite prepared dishes with recipe sheets for everyone to taste. As people RSVP we will have a more accurate count of how much to prepare. It needn’t be fancy, complex or difficult. But the dish should be one that brings you joy when you prepare it and eat it. This will hopefully kick off future in person events and I know that I am looking forward to meeting all the people I have only known on Zoom.
