"Discerning an Exotic Species: A Lutheran Evangelist," is a 5-week sermon series, beginning February 12th. New and familiar voices and faces from our congregation will dive deeper into our understanding of Evangelism, what the Bible teaches about being an evangelist, and how it applies to our everyday faith walk.
Led by Paul Sims, Dennis Sagebiel, and Pastor Marcus, the conversation will continue in the Family Life Center during the education hour on March 19 and 26. Come join us!

Interested in worship on the beach and camping as a church? Pastor Marcus is planning an “Emanuel’s at the Beach” weekend in early June. Our dates are June 2-4th, with those wishing to come early arriving on Thursday the 1st. If you’d be interested in participating, please reach out to Pastor Marcus. | |

Members of Emanuel’s Lutheran Church,
On behalf of the Salvation Army Seguin Unit we want to express our gratitude to the congregation of Emanuel’s Lutheran Church for volunteering to “ring the bells” for the 2022 Salvation Army Kettle Campaign.
Through your efforts, and the efforts of other volunteers in our community, we raised over $44,000 from the kettles at Walmart. That is about $6,000 higher than last year and over our goal! We are so grateful for the generosity of people in this area and wonderful volunteers like you! God bless you for your continued support of this vital outreach to those in need in our community.
The Salvation Army uses the funds from the Kettle Campaign, and additional donations throughout the year, to help people in need by providing housing and utility assistance as well as help with clothing, food, medicines, and other needs. So again, we say thanks.
Yours in Community and Christian Service,
Jennifer Ehlers
For the 2022 Kettle Campaign Committee (Vickie Cusack, Jennifer Ehlers, Liz Hilsdorf & Kyle Kraft)
