Vigil for Judy Ramirez tonight

At 7:00 pm

Judy Lynch Ramirez was welcomed into the embrace of Christ on October 1. Fr. Jonathan + will hold a brief vigil for Judy this evening at 7:00 pm.

Please come to lift up Judy and her family in prayer. We'll meet in the back of the sanctuary, light candles and pray for our sister in Christ together.

Blessing of the Animals this Saturday

At 10:00 am

Please bring your pet (all God's creatures welcomed!) whether it be furry, feathery, scaly or slimy for a blessing this Saturday morning, October 5, at 10:00 in the parking lot.

The event is held in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint of animals. Francis considered all nature as the mirror of God and as so many steps to God.

He called all creatures his “brothers” and “sisters,” and, in the most endearing stories about him, preached to the birds and persuaded a wolf to stop attacking the people of the town of Gubbio and their livestock if the townspeople agreed to feed the wolf.

Stewardship Campaign to begin

Let's journey together in love

Our annual stewardship campaign will get underway soon with the theme Walk in Love.

Generosity is a journey, it’s a practice that we learn and nurture within our hearts. It just isn’t in our nature to give away what we have worked hard to acquire or to donate our precious time without compensation. It takes something as radical as Love to inspire us to share our time, talent, and treasure with others. This is a journey we make together, a Walk in Love.

New Theater outing in November

Sign-up in the Narthex

Sign-up in the Narthex to see the matinee performance of An Old-Fashioned Family Murder on Saturday, November 16 at the New Theatre and Restaurant.

Starring TV star and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Sally Struthers, this performance was written by Tony Award Winner, Joe DiPietro.

Set in 1942, a junior homicide detective stumbles upon the murder of a famed mystery writer. Trapped in a mansion with several suspects, he finds himself outmatched by the cunning of the killer. His only hope in solving the case is his mystery-loving mother, who luckily is trapped in the mansion with him!
