Collecting soup for CSL

Please bring a contribution of canned or bag soup for donation to the Blue Springs Community Services League. A collection box is located in the narthex for your donations. Go Chiefs!

Adult Education class

Our Thursday evening adult education class has finished the book The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis.

Class will not meet next week (January 30th). When we resume on February 6, we will spend around three weeks exploring prayer before beginning another book.

Please use this questionnaire to help reflect on your thoughts on prayer before we begin.

We will look at different forms of prayer, discuss them, and try them. We will seek to gain a new appreciation for how we pray and what prayer is, and even push our horizons of understanding what prayer can be.

I will look forward to seeing you there and to see what the Holy Spirit does among us!

Sign-up in the narthex

Please sign-up in the narthex if you are interested in attending a KC Mavericks hockey game as part of our church group on February 21 and/or April 4.

Games take place at the Cable-Dahmer Arena in Independence.

One service only at 9:30 am

The Annual Meeting of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection will take place on Sunday, February 2 following the church service. We will have one service only on that Sunday beginning at 9:30 am.

A Potluck Lunch will follow the meeting. Couples and families are asked to bring a main dish and singles bring a side dish or a dessert.

Clip and bring to church

Please remember to clip and collect labels from products with the Best Choice®, Clearly by Best Choice®, and Best Choice® Superior Selections® logos and bring them to church for us to redeem them for $.03 per label.

There is a collection box in the Narthex. Best Choice® products are available at Price Chopper stores. Make sure you clip the UPC code with the words Best Choice®.
