Join us in the undercroft on the remaining Sundays in May at 9:15 am for our continuing Adult Forum on Episcopal Church & Anglican Tradition: “Exploring the Faith”.

This Sunday is our monthly ingathering for the Necessity Pantry. The pantry provides personal care items for individuals and families in financial stress. Regularly needed items include shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable razors, shaving cream, bath soap, lotion, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper and feminine hygiene and incontinence products. Cash donations are also gratefully accepted.

The Necessity Pantry is a cooperative ministry supported by the Church of the Resurrection in Blue Springs, St. Anne’s in Lee’s Summit, Trinity and St. Michael’s in Independence, and St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Independence.

Bring your appetite and join us next Tuesday, May 19, for our monthly Men's Breakfast at the Royal Biscuit on 40 Hwy in Blue Springs, beginning at 7:00 am.

The Royal Biscuit offers a 20% discount on Tuesdays to seniors and military.

Cost per person is $43.50. Payment is due to the church by May 24.

Submit your favorite hymn

Do you have a favorite hymn you would like to hear during the summer months? Members of the congregation are encouraged to submit the title(s) of their favorites hymns to Vaughn Scarcliff for possible inclusion in our services. The hymns do not have to be contained in our hymnals.
