A Low-Cost Loan from the Cornerstone Fund is Just a Click Away!
Sometimes you need to ask the difficult question. Deep down inside, you may already know the answer. But it’s not until you actually take the time to assess and realistically address the situation that you decide to act on the solution. While this scenario applies to a variety of issues in life, the topic at hand is the condition of your church property.

Is your congregation considering making improvements on your building to expand ministry or increase revenue? Is it finally addressing deferred maintenance items that worsen every year? Are you ready to reduce your building’s carbon footprint and save money on utilities in the process? Can you enhance digital capabilities to maintain and grow your online community?

If any of these questions apply to you, then now is a good time to talk with the Cornerstone Fund about low-cost loan options that will directly improve your facility and potentially strengthen your congregation. Learn more >>

May is Asian Pacific Heritage Month
Dear Faith Family & Friends,

The New Hampshire Conference Justice & Witness Ministry (JWM) group would like to encourage local congregations to honor Asian Pacific Heritage Month this year, especially if your church holds any of the specific United Church of Christ (UCC) designations like Racial Justice Church, Just Peace Church, etc.

A simple way to do this would be to incorporate readings or liturgy from Asian American and / or Pacific Islander theologians during May. Here is a
simple article for education that you could review and pass around local congregations:  https://www.npr.org/2021/05/25/999874296/6-charts-that-dismantle-the-trope-of-asian-americans-as-a-model-minority

We also want to let all of those in local congregations who are praying for reproductive rights know that they are not alone. If you are looking for ways to get educated or involved, please visit the website of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice: https://rcrc.org/

Go, and let your light shine; know that you are God's child.

Rev. Sara M. Holland on behalf of the JWM group

Please Remember in Your Prayers...
We pray for the many people in this world whose lives and health are at risk: for the terrified residents of Ukraine, who fear the violence of war – especially those in danger of being raped by the invading forces; for those women in this moment and in the future whose lives and health may be at risk as politicians and judges close off their access to reproductive choice; and, for the many who live in settings of poverty and lack access to clean air and water and healthy food; loving God, hear our prayers.

O God, in your tender mercy,
Hear our prayers!
