Because Lutherans are appreciative. The Congregation Care Team thanks all the wonderful volunteers who made Sunday’s Fellowship Hall Dedication Potluck possible. From cleaning out closets and preparing the Fellowship Hall to ironing tablecloths, flowers, set up, BBQ, kitchen prep, serving and cleaning up, Emanuel’s faithful volunteers came out enthusiastically to help the congregation show appreciation to the Build Team, Pastor Marcus, Congregation Council, contractors and, especially, Garry Miller. Thank you for making Sunday’s dedication such a special event. We are better together. | |

MEETING #2, AUGUST 13
following worship in the Family Life Center
Safety and Security are top priorities for our campus, especially as we consider how many visitors, church members, and ministry groups meet weekly. Having a plan in place that supports the constant and vital work of the Property Stewards and their care for the physical plant of our campus and gives us the avenues of communication, preparation, and action should we need it is also crucial. If you would be interested in helping formulate this safety and security plan please join the Task Force Chair Allan Bode in the Family Life Center on Sunday, August 13 following worship.
