Episcopal "101" Class

Please take our poll

New to the church or feel like you could use a little refresher course on our Episcopal Church?

Father Jonathan is exploring interest in holding an Episcopal 101 class. Its an opportunity to better understand our faith and denomination and to discover what Christianity and the Episcopal Church mean to you. Episcopal 101 is a course for long-time members, inquirers, folks who are thinking about Baptism, Confirmation, or Reception into the Episcopal Church.

If you are interested in attending please let us know what time would work for you. We are considering either Tuesdays or Thursdays at 6:00 pm. Please take our poll below.

Fund Raising Opportunity

We need your help to park cars!

Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral offers parking for events at Bartle Hall for a fee and shares the proceeds with churches who volunteer as parking attendants

Resurrection has raised almost $20,000 so far from this opportunity with only a few dedicated volunteers. Those who have helped have been amazed at how easy and fun it can be! All you have to do is collect the money and direct the people where to park. It is set up in 4 hour shifts and you work with a team of 3 or 4 people. You can sign up with a friend, even if they are not a member of Resurrection.

We will schedule you with an experienced person and carpool if desired. Please don’t wait for warmer weather because there is not much opportunity in the summer months. The time is now! PLEASE don’t delay as shifts are limited and other organizations also participate.

Contact Elaine Gilligan or Bill Carle to answer questions and sign up!!

Bring your Best Choice labels

Collection box in the Narthex

We're off to a fast start! We already have over 500 labels for the new year. Many thanks to all who have brought their Best Choice labels to church.

Please remember to clip and collect labels from products with the Best Choice®, Clearly by Best Choice®, and Best Choice® Superior Selections® logos and bring them to church for us to redeem them for $.03 per label!

There is a collection box in the Narthex. Best Choice® products are available at Price Chopper stores. Make sure you clip the labels to show the UPC code with the words Best Choice®. (Please see the picture.)

Thank you Meg Swant for coordinating this project.

Bishop Search

The Bishop Search Committee is conducting listening sessions throughout the diocese and invites your participation. Some are geared toward specific groups such as clergy, youth, and Spanish-speaking congregations, while others are open to all.

There are three more open sessions coming up: January 27 from 10 am.– noon at St. Peter’s and All Saints’ in Kansas City (in-person), January 30 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. (Zoom), and February 3 from 3–5 pm at Calvary, Sedalia (in-person).

If you would like to join the Zoom session, please register at bishopsearch.diowestmo.org. You may also fill out a survey from the search committee found HERE.
