As we journey towards Health and Human Services Sunday, we remember all those who serve. The EMTs and paramedics, the nurses and doctors, the social workers and counselors, the childcare providers and teachers, the family members and so many others who dedicate their lives to helping others in their times of need, who guide and care, who give of their knowledge and compassion day in and day out. God, we thank you for their dedication, for the ways they create places and spaces of safety, and we ask that you strengthen them for this important work.
