Please Remember in Your Prayers...
The people of California. God we ask that your healing, loving presence be with them as they recover from tragedy upon tragedy upon tragedy. We ask that you help them find housing, sustenance and safety as they deal with the ravages of floods and storms, and hope amongst the terrible and all too frequent horror of mass shootings. And so God, we offer our continued prayers for an end to gun violence, for real solutions to the proliferation of weapons in our society, for common sense in the midst of unceasing fear and death. May we be a people not only of hope, but also of courage as we confront that which needs confronting, and make a way towards the peace of your kingdom.

O God, in your tender mercy,
Hear our prayer!
