Meet Our New Staff Member
We are so very excited to announce the hiring of Thaddeus Sieverding as our new Communication, Technology and Events Specialist. Thaddeus began his tenure on our Conference staff on February 1st. He will be working 30 hours a week - sometimes out of the Conference Office and sometimes working remotely.

Thaddeus' responsibilities include preparing the Weekly News, maintaining (and eventually redesigning) our Conference website, maintaining and developing the Conference's information technology infrastructure, and coordinating registration and logistics for all-Conference events (Prepared to Serve, Annual Meeting, etc.)

Thaddeus is a part of the worshiping community at the Newfields Community Church.

He will be with us for Prepared to Serve and Reverend Marean's Installation as our Associate Conference Minister on February 25th. Please take the opportunity to introduce yourself to him that day.

In the meantime, if you need to reach Thaddeus, please call the Conference Office or email him at tsieverding@nhcucc.org.
Remember in Your Prayers
The family and friends of Tyre Nichols, the city of Memphis and our nation. God we ask that you keep us awake and alert to the sin of racism within ourselves and our society. We pray that you might guide us as we listen to the voices of your prophets, both those of old speaking to us from the pages of scripture, and those in our day and time crying out for justice. May we all work for a day and time when our people, all people, ‘shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more.’

O God, in your tender mercy, Hear our prayers
