Adults involved in Youth Ministry are invited to attend this gathering, in an effort to encourage each other as we discuss ideas in reaching and connecting with the youth in our congregations. READ MORE

The Ohio District LCMS is looking for adults to serve on the NEW Youth Ministry Team (YMT), who will help develop and carry out trainings, workshops and events about and for children, youth and families. It is important for the members of the YMT serving together that are dedicated in faith and action, and develop ways to reach today’s young people in their congregations, communities, regions, District, and beyond. 1 adult from each of the 4 regions will be chosen to serve a 2-3 year term. The adult applicant must be active in an Ohio District LCMS congregation, 21+ years of age, love Jesus, and have the excitement and skills to build a strong youth team. We want a Professional Church Worker on our team!

In the June 2023 issue of StewardCAST, LCMS Stewardship Ministry finishes a series of reflections on the stewardship hymn “We Give Thee But Thine Own.” The issue reflects on how God has created stewards and how He recreates fallen stewards through the Perfect Steward, Jesus Christ.

College Campus Ministry is an opportunity for congregations to reach out to college students with the saving grace of Jesus. The Ohio District LCMS together with the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) are working together to encourage congregations to connect with college students, to invite and welcome them to their congregation.
