Because Lutherans value community: we take time to celebrate community both at the church and beyond the walls. Pastor Marcus and Pastor Kelsie (and Eli, too!) joined Jennifer and Harper W. rooting on sister Hadlee as Navarro played Cuero this week. You are also invited to cheer on our youth as they participate in extracurricular endeavors. Pastor Kelsie has posted some current youth sport schedules in the Narthex with more announcements to come. Check out the pics below and think about attending a game, match, recital, or show this spring. Take some time to ask how their training is going and what's coming up next. They are amazing kids and we're blessed to have them in our lives. We are better together.

COVID-19 SAFETY UPDATE: MASKS must be worn by EVERYONE in the church building. The Congregation Council approved the following at their January meeting. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated persons are to wear masks, covering noses and mouths, while on the church campus in response to rising Covid-19 infections. This includes moving through the hallways, elevator, while in the office, etc. Please continue to maintain 6-foot distancing practices. These guidelines apply to all ministry groups, rentals, tenants, staff, congregants, and visitors until further notice. Thank you for continuing to protect our neighbors. We are better together.

What Masks Do We Wear?
Wearing a mask to protect ourselves and others from the Covid virus is important. Can wearing a mask, physically or assumed, serve as a disguise? We do read each other’s facial expressions. In the face of our Lord we reveal ourselves, mask or no mask, and are revealed. It’s a revelation.
