Alleluia! Christ is risen.
Christ is risen indeed. Alleluia!
Go in peace. Tell what God has done.
Thanks be to God.

After two years of precarious Holy Week gatherings it was not only a joy, but also a relief to celebrate Easter in familiar and fresh ways. The beautiful sunrise service pictured above was well attended under the ancient oak at the front steps of the church. There was a cool breeze, music galore, and delicious breakfast following.

Our Maundy Thursday service had everyone gathering around the table. We also celebrated the First Communion of two incredible youth that evening. They, with their family and Pastor Kelsie, baked the delicious bread for the meal. Congratulations Elijah and Elle!

Thanks to everyone who brewed coffee, baked breakfast casseroles, brought pastries, fruit, and juices, and bustled about with cheer to make the Continental Breakfast on Easter morning a delightful respite on a very busy day. Susan and Bill, you and the Congregational Care Team did a eggs-traordinary job!

Can't forget the egg hunt! It was a beautiful ending to a glorious series of events celebrated with family and friends. Thanks to the Emanuel's youth for playing Easter Bunny for our future youth.
