Because Lutherans love little learners. So proud of the Emanuel's Lutheran Day School PreK-3 class sitting snuggly in the front pew getting more comfortable each week with Wednesday Chapel. "Mr. Tom" has much to share and his students are eager to absorb. We are better together.

"Discerning an Exotic Species: A Lutheran Evangelist," is a 5-week sermon series, beginning February 12th. New and familiar voices and faces from our congregation will dive deeper into our understanding of Evangelism, what the Bible teaches about being an evangelist, and how it applies to our everyday faith walk.
Led by Paul Sims, Dennis Sagebiel, and Pastor Marcus, the conversation will continue in the Family Life Center during the education hour on March 19 and 26. Come join us!

Hello Emanuel's Lutheran Church,
My name is Paul Daniel Burow and I am excited to be a part of your family and also be your intern for the Spring of 2023. I was born in Davao, Philippines and was later adopted on April 1, 2000. I lived in College Station for a few months, but later moved to Lubbock, TX where I grew and matured in my faith. I am currently a junior at Texas Lutheran University where I am majoring in a Bachelor of Arts in Theology Pre-seminary and hope to go to an ELCA seminary to become a pastor.
Here are a couple things to know about me: I am really big into reading about religion and about Martin Luther’s works, a little bit of history, and solving word puzzle booklets to help me think. I also play the violin for the TLU orchestra and feel a strong connection towards music. My favorite color is purple for lent as we give up ourselves for Christ on His way to the cross. Sprite is my favorite drink. I like to watch the 1960’s tv shows The Invaders, Hogan’s Heroes, and the show Gunsmoke.
I want to learn more about the pastoral route from both Pastor Marcus and Pastor John and help out in the Church and within the Seguin community. I will be working with Emanuel's Lutheran during the Spring 2023 semester. I am hoping to create a good atmosphere for those who are wanting to learn more about Christ and how to help them find their steps into finding God.

Our dates are June 2-4th, with those wishing to come early arriving on Thursday the 1st. If you’d be interested in participating, please reach out to Pastor Marcus.
