BEING THE CHURCH

THANK YOU HIGHWAY CLEANUP CREW!

The 9 volunteers spent 4 hours and collected a total of 46 bags of litter. Stay tuned for future dates to participate in this service to our community.

LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER!

More than 90 people attended the festivities in the Women's Minitry Room. Kudos to the planning team for their bodacious attention to details. Thank you to the cooks, prep crew, and crazy mask wearers who made the evening special for everyone. We have undergound video of the Pancake Eating Contest below. Shout out to King Paul for his pancake eating prowess.

There are many more photos! Huge thanks to our photographers Deanna Z, Deb H, Carrie M, Darlene Z, Pastor Marcus, and both Sarah Ks!

Bigott says although Emmanuel’s is hosting the event, several churches have partnered with the local congregation. “I am really excited. DEVOTIONS FOR LENT

Available now in the narthex and church office

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the writing of “Amazing Grace,” these Lenten devotions by theologian Michael Hoy tie the words of the beloved song (and the history surrounding it) to our lives today and to the lives of those in the Bible who experienced the amazing grace of God revealed most profoundly in the salvation of Jesus.

Stephenie Hovland is the author of "God's Grace Is Great! - Amazing Lenten Devotions for Children." As children reflect on the words of “Amazing Grace” in this daily Lenten devotion booklet, they are reminded that God’s great grace was poured out upon us because of the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. Because of Jesus Christ, we all can say that we have been saved by God’s grace. And that’s amazing! Ages 6-10.
