You are invited to participate in worship and the life of the church in new ways. Please let Denise H. or Sherry know if you are eager to serve as a worship leader. We need ushers, readers, assisting ministers, Altar Guild, communion assistants, hospitality, radio announcers, and other hands on deck. As you step back into the church think about stepping into a new role of service. We need you.

Join Pastor Marcus and Kristen for the first, of what is planned to be many, Couples Nights Out! Bring your significant other an gather with us at The Spot in San Marcos, just off !H-35, for food, drinks, bowling, and time for fellowship. Bowling and shoes are on us. The pandemic has kept us from being able to gather and get to know one another better. It is our hope that these outings can do just that: bring us together. Come as you can and leave when you need to!

We are excited to announce an addition to the Emanuel's office team, Jeni Payton, filling the position of Accountant and Bookkeeper. She started mid March under the wing of Congregation Council Treasurer Susan Yeatts.
Jeni has extensive experience in accounting, is a Certified Public Bookkeeper, and a proud Aggie. She joins us from an Episcopal church in Lewisville, Texas where she was the Director of Business Affairs. Jeni and her husband moved to New Braunfels from Vernon, Texas in late January. They have three adult daughters living around the state. She loves to play tennis, garden, cook, and hike.
We've all enjoyed getting to know Jeni and marvel at her enthusiasm as she explores her new hometown and surrounding areas. Feel free to stop by the office to welcome her and introduce yourself. She would like to meet you, and probably find out your favorite restaurant, as well.

SMALL GROUP UPDATES
Small groups at Emanuel's are now able to meet in-person, on campus. Safety protocols apply as we best love and protect all our neighbors. Masks covering nose and mouth, and 6 foot social distancing, regardless of vaccination status, are still required for everyone in the church building.
If you are a small group leader, please contact Sherry in the church office at 830-379-5046 or sherry@elcseguin.org to place (or re-place) your gatherings on the church calendar. We understand that everyone is re-entering social situations at their own pace. There will be some calendar shuffling and room reassignments until we get comfortable with the newness of being back on campus.
No group should assume that their schedule from previous years is the same this year. This includes Sunday School Classes, Circles ... everyone, really. Give Sherry a ring and we will work it out together.

Emanuel's Office Staff is working both at the office and at home. Our schedules are staggered so that someone is in the office Mondays through Thursdays from 8-5. It is best to make an appointment or call before coming in. Everyone is still accessible via email and phone.
Are you ready for a little March Madness AND Holy Week humor rolled into one?
