Because Lutherans are Easter people every day: While Easter is every Sunday, these coming days are like one great annual Sunday. But because of the pan
demic, we cannot do these important services together in church. While Easter is a joyful festival, we keep it now in a time of difficulty and worldwide sorrow. Still, we believe that Christ is with us in his word, by his Spirit drawing us together as one before God. And we believe that the gospel of Christ gives us strength amid distress and comfort in the face of our sufferings.
We are in this together. We are better together. We may be apart, but we are not alone.

|
Join us online for meditative and reflective services that offer a time to pause in prayers, scripture, and reflection with music.
Remember that it is our intention, when we are free to gather again without restriction, to
pick up on the first Sunday back with Palm Sunday, celebrate Holy Week, and conclude this celebration, as we always have, with Easter. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to visit with Pastor Marcus, Pastor Kelsie, or Tom.

Please check out the Water to Thrive
website here to see our progress.
Donations that were made in memory or honor of loved ones will be recognized at our Easter Celebration when we are gathered together again.

Families and churches around the world are looking for creative ways to make this year’s COVID-19 Easter STILL be a celebration of new life, resurrection, and hope.
So many people have found beautiful ways to paint the windows of their homes or leave inspiring and hope-filled messages in sidewalk chalk around their neighborhoods. Our friends at Illustrated Ministries designed this Alleluia Poster that you can download for free.
If you color the poster, please share your pictures with us! We would love to see the creative ways you are celebrating at home.

April 9, 2020 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
The health of our church family, and of the public, is important to the Council and Staff of Emanuel' Lutheran Church. As we monitor the situation, the following provisions are now in place:
- Worship services on campus are suspended indefinitely. When City/State sanctions are lifted we will resume gatherings. This includes all campus activities.
- Office Staff is working from home and participating in remote online staff meetings.
- Nursing home visits are suspended.
- Hospital visitation is limited. Pastors may not have access to patients.
- Council Members will contact Emanuel's members as information needs to be shared.
Things we CAN do at this time:
- Worship with us online!
- Follow us on Facebook and join our Daily Devotional page.
- Let the office know if you or a loved one is in the hospital. We are checking emails and voicemails frequently.
- Practice good Stewardship. Continue your financial support for the ongoing ministries of ELC by giving online or mailing contributions to the church.
- Keep in touch with your Pew Pals. Need a virtual Pew Pal? Call the church office and we will pair you up.
- Pray daily with us at every day 12:05.
