Each episode presents a lesson based on Lectionary readings that families can watch together. The Bible story, illustrations, and other content are based on Spark: Activate Faith Lectionary Sunday school lessons.

CHRISTIAN CUPBOARD Accepting Donations

The Christian Cupboard has re-opened on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. They particularly need canned foods, especially tuna. Please leave in the night deposit box in parking lot side of building at 516 N. Camp Street. Thanks to all who are able to continue the work of this important ministry. Camp Emanuel's 2020 Registration Form

In response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, the Emanuel's Lutheran Church office staff is working from home until further notice.  Well, that's sort of true. Denise comes in to pay bills and make bank deposits. Tom has been actively cleaning and organizing the music suites. Pauline is attacking carpet stains with a vengeance. Pastor Marcus can be seen recording from his work desk and in the sanctuary from time to time. Joe monitors the roof after every rainfall. Everyone is still accessible via email and telephone. You may continue to call us at 830-379-5046. Messages are checked daily.  We continue to hold each of you and your families in our prayers. We are BETTER TOGETHER… even if it is virtually!

April 15, 2020 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update   The health of our church family, and of the public, is important to the Council and Staff of Emanuel' Lutheran Church. As we monitor the situation, the following provisions are now in place: ​ Worship services on campus are suspended indefinitely.  When City/State sanctions are lifted we will resume gatherings. This includes all campus activities. Office Staff is working from home and participating in remote online staff meetings.  Nursing home visits are suspended.  Hospital visitation is limited. Pastors may not have access to patients. Council Members will contact Emanuel's members as information needs to be shared.  ​ Things we CAN do at this time: Worship with us online!  Follow us on Facebook and join our Daily Devotional page.  Let the office know if you or a loved one is in the hospital. We are checking emails and voicemails frequently. Practice good Stewardship. Continue your financial support for the ongoing ministries of ELC by giving online or mailing contributions to the church.  Keep in touch with your Pew Pals. Need a virtual Pew Pal? Call the church office and we will pair you up. Pray daily with us at every day 12:05.

Summer Camp at Camp Chrysalis and Ebert Ranch Camp June 28-July 3 (6-8th grade at Camp Chrysalis, and 8th to High School LYLE 1 at Ebert Ranch Camp) June 28-July 3 (High School LYLE 2 at Ebert Ranch Camp) July 12-17 (6-8th grade Confirmation program at Camp Chrysalis) July 12-15 (1-3rd grade Young's A at Camp Chrysalis) Other weeks and programs available at Cross Trails Ministry. Day Camp & VBS Week July 6-10 Day Camp from 8:30-3:30 for youth who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. July 6-10 VBS from 8:30-12:30 for 3-5 year olds. VOLUNTEERS will be needed.

PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS POSTPONED Special thanks to the Church Directory Committee for contacting everyone who had scheduled a photo session this week. They are diligently working with the LifeTouch staff to schedule new photography dates this summer.
