Because Luther
ans are brave:
We don't have to face the wilderness alone. We don't even have to face the Garden of Eatin' alone. Shout out to this fearless team: Mike Haug and Wayne Stalsworth.
Special thanks to the men of Omega Tau service fraternity at TLU for pitching in during the spring garden work day.
We are better together.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
The health of our church family, and of the public, is important to the Council and Staff of Emanuel' Lutheran Church. On March 5, new protocols and recommendations were announced for the church community and campus.
Click here to read that announcement.
In addition to the coordinated efforts of Church Council and Staff, individuals are encouraged to protect one another by adhering to the following precautions.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- When possible, avoid close contact with people who are sick with cold and flu symptoms.
- Stay home if you are sick with cold or influenza-type symptoms to minimize risk of transmission to others.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or use your elbow to cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.
- Greet each other with warm and loving smiles, waves, elbow bumps, and/or other non-tactile ways.
General tips
In summary, we are operating as usual with VERY clean hands and extra care for those around us. Please let us know if you have any questions about Emanuel's ongoing response to the COVID-19 epidemic.

With your donations, assorted spring flowers will colorfully grace the sanctuary of Emanuel’s this Easter on April 12th and the gift of clean water will bless families across the globe for years to come.
Everyone deserves access to clean, safe water.
It affects everything. It means education for children, especially girls. It means time saved and spent on other activities, including earning money. It means improved health and reduced mortality. It means hope for the future. Emanuel’s Lutheran Church has taken up the challenge to raise $5000 to build a well in rural Africa. When you make a donation this Easter you are making a new life possible for more than 500 people in need.
You may honor or remember a loved one by supporting Water to Thrive (any dollar amount) and/or with a blooming plant ($15 each). Checks payable to Emanuel’s Lutheran Church.
Forms and payments may be put in an envelope and placed in the offering plate or delivered to the church office.
The deadline to ensure blooming plants for Easter and inclusion in the bulletin listing is Monday, March 30, 2020.
