Because Lutherans listen intently: all eyes and ears absorbed the Forward in Faith campaign presentation at the Congregational Meal on Sunday. It was wonderful to gather together in fellowship over a delicious lunch to learn about how good stewardship of our current resources will enable us to live out our mission of welcoming all people and preparing for our next era of ministry. A special thank you goes out to the Forward in Faith Steering Committee for coordinating such a lovely event. More pictures of the day can be seen here. We are better together.

FORWARD IN FAITH
STEP 5: DECIDE TO GIVE SACRIFICIALLY
The Forward in Faith campaign is a request for special "above and beyond" gifts designated for the improvement projects described at our Congregational Meal last Sunday. These singular gifts will enhance the generosity you exhibit annually through your offerings in support of Emanuel's ministries.
As we move faithfully through our 152nd year as Christ's people, your continued regular giving will enable us to carry out our current ministry plans and better prepare us to fully utilize the facilities renovations we are asking you to invest in through this special campaign.
