A “Beloved” is defined as “a much loved person.” We have spent the beginning of this calendar year diving into the nature of God as Father and subsequently, that we, both believers and unbelievers, are called “dearly loved” by our Father. If this is the case, then our identity is not found in success, or lack thereof, accomplishments, or lack thereof, talents, or lack thereof, or any other will of man. Who we are is The Beloved children of the most High God. When this becomes our identity, the glorious freedom of God oozes from the depths of our being. The path to such freedom rests in sitting at the feet of Jesus and gathering in a safe space in friendship with others who desire Him. At Harbor Youth, we prayerfully create a space for students to enter into relationships with Jesus. We hold a value that belonging comes before belief and that the invitation of Jesus is permanent and will, if you allow, radically change who you are. The heart of what we do takes place on Sunday nights from 6-8 p.m., where we share a meal, worship together, listen to teaching, and gather around a circle in small group.
