Sunday Service - January 25

Make a joyful noise, all the earth.

psalm 100

We praise one another when we do something well. But praising God is another kettle of fish. This Sunday Susan reflects on what praise is in terms of God, who is not looking for compliments. The band and the choir will make some joyful noise. Oh my soul - will they make joyful noise! Prepare to be brought to your feet, friends. It's a PRAISE SUNDAY at Saint Andrew's.

Please bring some food to share.

Spotlight on Our Community: The Cold and The Dark Campaign

Thank you!

$16,758 raised to keep Saint Andrew's warm and bright!

During the season of high heat and power bills, keeping Saint Andrew's warm and bright is a huge financial effort; so, we reached out to our community for help with our The Cold and The Dark Campaign.

We're so grateful and happy to share that the campaign raised $16,658 during the holiday season!

Support of The Cold and The Dark Campaign will help us continue our work, and keep rental prices low for our partner groups and organizations, because, beyond services and our sanctuary, Saint Andrew's is home to many community groups and activities.

Some of these groups are featured in this campaign video ... we just had to share it one more time, but we promise Patricia isn't wearing mittens in the office today!

So many people from our congregation, our many rental groups, and the community beyond our doors gave so generously to the campaign, and we're simply overwhelmed by the support!

Once again ... thank you!

The event will bring together partners from across the settlement, 2SLGBTQIA+, and public sectors to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and improve how we collectively support LGBTQI+ newcomers and refugees. We’ll be sharing more details soon, including sessions, speakers, and activities.

For information, updates and to register, visit www.rainbowrefugeens.com/building-bridges.

At Saint Andrew's, we are very concerned about the plight of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in many countries across the world and we are grateful to the Rainbow Refugee Association for the important work they do in sponsoring refugees and providing settlement support.
