Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

Welcome to the season of Lent. It is always a challenging time for me personally... choosing what to give-up, what to replace with a better practice. As Father said at Mass on Ash Wednesday, this is the time to let the Light of Christ in to our lives. What practices and habits do we have that hold us back from a closer relationship with each other, and with Christ?

We'll have additional school-wide prayers this lenten season to help bring us closer together. I encourage you to use the practice of the CRS Rice Bowls, the little black lent booklets, and other resources to bring your family closer this Lenten season.

We also have an event each year that always brings us closer together as a community. Yes, there is the free-throw competition this Saturday, the fish fries scattered throughout this season, but I'm talking about our Auction! It is here! Now is your last chance to get in on the action...Get your tickets HERE! An incredible team of folks have been working hard on bringing the Auction to life this year. It is going to be a great event and I hope to see many of you there!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Pizza Friday Update
Does your child love Pizza Fridays? Are you an energetic, organized individual looking for a fun way to earn commitment hours? If so, we have the job for you!

The Parent Org is looking for one or two people to coordinate Pizza Fridays for the 2018-19 school year. This is a great way to see your child on Fridays, help to earn money for our school, and earn you 50 commitment hours. If you would like more information, please contact Jennifer Dempsey. Jennifer would be happy to have you shadow her this year to learn the ropes.

Are you looking for ways to complete your commitment hours for this year?
You are always welcome to help serve pizza on Pizza Fridays. We have 11 left in the school year, and it's a fun and easy way to earn an hour (11:15am-12:15pm) of volunteer time per week. Contact Jennifer Dempsey for more information.
SCRIP Gift Cards
A few changes to note! We are now accepting Scrip orders the first Friday of every month. Turn SCRIP order forms in anytime during the month, but everything will be processed that "first Friday". We are hoping this allows families to better plan ahead for the month and make their card purchases all at once. Please email Danielle with questions.

Can't wait? EScrip is active!  Sign up for an account which links your bank account to Scrip. Order conveniently from home anytime, recharge current scrip cards, or download scrip directly to your phone or printer! Please email Danielle for our school enrollment code.
