Dear OLG Families,
Our school mass this morning was led by 4th grade and focused beautifully on the
Works of Mercy. This focus is a great tie-in to
Lent and our school theme this year of living as the
Hands and Feet of Christ. Fr. Jack encouraged all of us, young and old, to think how we can serve others... not just in the "job" we may be hired for, but in our actions and in our care for ALL who are in our community. As I tell each of the prospective parents that walk in our doors, OLG is a special place precisely because of the amazing community we have, including our dedication to service learning.
This dedication was readily apparent yesterday in our middle school students serving as leaders in the Math Fair / PI DAY celebrations (see video below)! Our sense of community is also present in the early returns on registration, with more than half of our current families already completing their online registration. Remember there is the
On Time Registration incentive of a $50 discount for each family who is fully
registered by March 28th (online registration completed + full payment +
signed student profile returned to office). Details and more information is available on our admissions website
here.

March 24th, join in reflection, dialogue and personal encounter with 10 men from the Matt Talbot Center who have experienced homelessness; will begin with a social at 9am and end with a pizza lunch. This is an opportunity for all to grow in awareness of one’s brokenness and belovedness in God. Join this group of men to listen for the voice of God in your own and others’ experiences of fear, trust and the face of God.

Catholic Saints page to learn more about these holy men and women, and invite them into your Lenten journey.

Day of Service Featured Project of the Week:
Gym Drop-In Project in Walmesley Center
Each week, we are featuring a project for the annual OLG Day of Service on
April 21
. There is something for everyone!
Sign up now!
This year we will be starting the day with a blessing by Fr. Jack. Join us at 9:00 at OLG for projects that start at 9:30 or later and Fr. Jack will bless us as we go out to be the
hands and feet of Jesus.
Looking for a way to participate in Day of Service, but unsure how to incorporate a full day project into your already busy weekend plans? The Walmesley Center Day of Service Drop-In project is just for you! This great project is open to people of all ages, and runs from 9:30am - 2pm. It is perfect for the hour or two you may have to give, for a small group of scouts seeking service, or for people who want to serve all day, participating in various activities indoors. This year, volunteers will have the opportunity to partake in a variety of tasks, ranging from creating Care Kits for the homebound and the homeless, to making rosaries and making cards for various organizations. This is a wonderful way to be hands-on in the community, and give what you can, however you can, for as long as you can.
