Our last two weeks of school before Christmas are busy! Celebrate with us at the

Feast of the Immaculate Conception
, our special festivities honoring our namesake on
Dec. 12th
at 9am (led by Student Council), at our all-school sign-a-long on

at 1:30, and of course on the final half day
Dec. 15th
. You're welcome to any and all of these events!
Finally a word of the present day. Thank you to all families who've got your auction procurement done this week. The students were also very spirited today, full of OLG pride! I am so honored to be a part of all our student's growth and development. Earlier this week I was on a missionary service field trip with the 7th graders to serve at several agencies for the homeless in downtown Seattle. It was such a pleasure to spend the day with our 7th graders using their
Hands and Feet
to do
Christ's work
, to listen to their reflections at the end of the day, and to see them represent our school and our mission all day long. Blessings to you this Advent Season.

School Fund Drive -- In Action
|
Thank you everyone who has made their pledge already this year! You are the reason our school exists. You are the reason we have excellent programs. Our pledges are currently at $37,000 toward our goal of $80,000 (just over 46% of the way there). The
School Fund Drive
makes a huge difference in our ability to provide quality programs, accessible to all, beyond what tuition dollars provide. Make your donation today to keep our doors open and welcoming to all!
|
|
|
|
Three weeks ago all school families were invited to participate in the school fund drive. Reaching 100% of our families and staff pledging support is our main goal here in school . Participation can be at any level. This week and next week parishioners and other community donors are receiving their invitation to participate. Our "ask" is that much stronger when we can say we have 100% from our current families. Spread the good news of what OLG School is doing!
If you have not yet made a gift, please prayerfully consider what amount makes sense for your family and pledge accordingly.
Our Lady of Guadalupe,
Pray for Us!
