AFM PRESIDENT'S REPORT

Welcome back from Spring Break!

As the end of the school year is approaching, let's end the year strong by supporting our upcoming AV Music events!

VOLUNTEER for CMEA String & Band Festival - May 2nd and 3rd. See announcement below for more information.

DONATE AUCTION/RAFFLE ITEMS for Bandcake Breakfast. The event is set for May 10th but the online auction will go live before then. Please donate to make our auction bigger and better - and raise more funds for the band!

*AFM VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION POTLUCK - Sunday May 4, noon to 2pm. Mark your calendars! More details will be announced next week.

CMEA - Parent Volunteers Needed! AV Band and Orchestra Performance Times!

Volunteers for the County Fair and help AFM raise money!

This year's fair will be held from June 13th - July 6th, 2025

This is a good fundraiser for AFM as they compensate AFM for the hours we volunteer!!

In addition to access to the Fair during your shift, all volunteers receive an admission ticket to the fair to come back and enjoy it on a day they are not volunteering. 

To sign up, register for a Better Impact Account and make sure you note you are with Amador Friends of Music (under profile/Additional Info you can select from the scroll down). If you already have a Better Impact account log into your  www.myvolunteerpage.com account with the username/password you created and click on the Opportunities tab to see all the areas we have open to volunteer in!

*All volunteers over the age of 16 can volunteer without a parent*

Special Color Markers Fundraising

Thanks for our band parent Jennifer Li's generous donation, we have a special "Color Markers fundraising", 100% of the sale goes to help fund the Amador Friends of Music program. These markers comes in either 60 or 120 colors, dual tips, great for posters and art work, perfect for birthday gifts set.

Bandcake Breakfast Auction: Vacation Home? Golf Day?

We are still looking for auction items to raise money for the band! Do you have a vacation home - or know someone who does - and would like to donate a weekend as an auction item? Do you have anything golf related - golf course/golf store gift certificates, new golf items?
