Oktoberfest Volunteers Needed!
The 13th Annual St. Benedict Oktoberfest is coming up Sept. 15-17, 2017. Many, many hands are needed to make this event successful, and we ask you to please consider volunteering as much as you possibly can!!  The volunteer website is now LIVE and ready for you to sign up! Don't forget - the earlier you sign up, the better the selection of times and locations available. As you know, this event raises vital dollars our parish needs to support our school. Click here to volunteer.
School Paperwork
If you have any outstanding paperwork from Book Day ( physicals, birth certificates, registration forms, etc.), please submit them to the school office as soon as possible. Thank you!
Welcome back students!
School Lunch
This year families will have the option of ordering lunch on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting in September. The lunch ordering window for September/October is now open, and lunch orders can be placed through ParentsWeb. On days when school lunch is not an option, all students must bring a lunch from home.

There are lots of THANK YOU's to go out to all the wonderful volunteers who got our school year off to a great start! Thank you to Will Thomas and all of the volunteers who weeded, trimmed, swept, and mulched to get the school grounds looking beautiful. Thank you to Maria Barrera and the other volunteers who helped with hospitality after the Opening of the School Year Mass. Thank you to Nevada Wagner and volunteers who helped with Book Day. We couldn't do it without your support!
Parish News
Parish Anniversary: On the weekend of August 26–27, we will celebrate the eighty-eighth anniversary of the dedication of the parish church. This year, a new statue of St. Benedict, to be located in the Parish Center, will be blessed at each Mass.

Adoration: Exposition and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament occurs on the first Friday of each month.  Exposition begins at 6:00pm with all night adoration until 8:00 a.m. the following morning (Saturday). Adorers are needed to commit to an hour, or to be available as a substitute. This is a very peaceful and quiet time to pray in front of our Lord. Please consider becoming part of this prayerful ministry. For more information or to sign up, please contact Alice diFazio at 690-3786 or email  notele@comcast.net .
Belmont Library
Over the years, the Belmont library, a few blocks from the school, has been a wonderful community partner. Please read the welcome letter from their Branch Manager here.
