Park Facility Status Updates

The thick ice and extreme cold has made it challenging to clear the Pleasant Valley Park Paddle Tennis Courts. We hope to have them open by Wednesday, 2/4/26.

All other tennis & pickleball courts are closed until further notice.

Walking paths at Pleasant Valley Park, Dunham Park and Mountain Park have been cleared.

The Ice Skating Area at Southard Park is snow covered and closed until further notice.

The Mountain Park Turf Fields are snow covered and closed until further notice.

The restrooms at Mountain Park are closed until further notice, a portable toilet is available.

 Please do NOT shovel, plow or blow snow off courts, rinks or fields.  It can cause extensive damage which will result in additional facility closures even after the snow has melted.

Ice skating and ice fishing is NEVER permitted on the ponds

at Southard Park and Pleasant Valley Park.

• Tennis, Pickleball, Paddle Court & Roller Rink Reservations
• Court Status - Paddle Tennis Courts are open when cleared and accessible. All tennis & pickleball nets have been removed at Pleasant Valley Park. Courts will be reassessed and nets replaced once the snow has melted. The Liberty Corner, Rebel Hill and Oak Street tennis/pickleball courts are closed for the winter season. Please do not shovel snow off courts!
• Reservations are accepted online up to 7 days in advance. Please click here for more information and to reserve courts.
• All use associated with league play requires a reservation by paid permit. Click here for more information on league reservations.
• Picnic Shelters, Indoor Facilities & the Community Center
• We are accepting reservations for all dates in 2026.
• Park picnic shelters are closed for the winter, through March 30.

• All grass athletic fields are closed for the winter, tentatively reopening on April 1, 2026. Turf fields remain open except when snow-covered.

NOTICE REGARDING ACCESS TO RHS VARSITY COMPLEX

Please be advised that the entire Ridge High School Varsity Sports Complex

from Maple Avenue up the hill to near Lee Field will be closed for renovations/improvements beginning Monday, December 8, until further notice. 

For safety reasons, residents, parents and students are prohibited from entering the area. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.

There is no access to RHS from the Community Center parking lot.
