A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR

Dear Parents of Saint Mary School,

With Catholic Schools Week quickly approaching, this is a wonderful time to reflect with gratitude on the many blessings of Saint Mary School. As a Catholic Classical Liberal Arts School, Saint Mary School is joyfully and unapologetically Catholic, rooted in prayer, the Sacraments, and the teachings of the Church. We are blessed with academic excellence that forms both the mind and the soul, dedicated and faith-filled teachers, a strong partnership with our parish, and a warm, supportive community where children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow in wisdom and virtue. Every day, our students are formed not only for success in this world, but for holiness and heaven.

I encourage you, as parents and families of Saint Mary School, to share these blessings with others. Please invite your friends, family members, neighbors, and co-workers to experience Saint Mary School firsthand at our Open House on Sunday, January 25th. Word of mouth is one of the greatest gifts you can give our school, and your personal invitation can open the door for another family to discover the joy, faith, and excellence that define a Saint Mary School education.

Finally, I warmly invite all Saint Mary School families to join me for a Family Rosary on Friday, January 30th at 6:00pm. We will gather as a school family to pray together, entrusting our children, our families, and our school to the loving intercession of Our Blessed Mother. Pizza will be served, and I ask that you please RSVP to the school office so we can plan accordingly. Thank you for the gift of your family, your faith, and your continued commitment to Saint Mary School. Be assured of my prayers for you always.

With gratitude and blessings,

Father Jeff Kegley

Pastor

CLASSICAL MUSINGS

You have heard it over and over again: parents are the first educators of their children. From the time a child is born his/her parents are educating them, often without words, as to what the family considers important. If the faith that a parent promised to raise a child in at baptism is important, then as the child grows such parents will look for a school environment that supports them in passing this faith on to the child.

That is what a Catholic school does, it assists the parents in educating a child in the faith as they grow in wisdom and knowledge. And the parent is an integral part of this process from beginning to end. Saint Mary Classical Catholic School is that sort of school. You know parents who are looking for an education such as your child receives. Please invite them to schedule a tour and see what a Saint Mary education is all about.
