WEEKLY NEWS - June 10, 2019
Summer Reading
We encourage students to take a break and relax over the summer, however, we don't want them to completely forget about learning. With this in mind, we do have summer reading for the students. In addition, we've noticed that proper keyboarding skills is a weak area for most middle school students. We have included a free typing program that middle school students will be expected to complete over the summer. The summer assignments for 2019 can be found by clicking  here .  Don't wait to dive into some great summer reading!
Summer Hours
If you are planning to stop by school to drop off paperwork or other items, please be sure to CALL FIRST (804-254-8850). The school office hours are typically from 9am-3pm, M-F, but with a small summer staff, we might be in other parts of the building or in a meeting and unable to hear the doorbell. So plan ahead and call first so we can be on the lookout for you! Thank you!
Safe Environment Requirements

If you are VIRTUS trained thank you! If you haven’t taken VIRTUS yet, summer is a great time to take care of this.  Click HERE! You are responsible for keeping your VIRTUS account up to date. Please read the monthly training by following the link in the monthly email VIRTUS sends you and answer the multiple choice question.

The Diocese monitors these accounts and if you are defunct in your reading, they will suspend your account. Please be proactive in ensuring that your account is active and that we remain compliant with the Diocesan Safe-Environment Regulations.
Thank you for your help in protecting our children.
