From Our Principal - Stay Active this Summer
As summer approaches, I encourage you to not let the learning stop. That doesn't mean I want your children sitting around at a desk studying all day. Instead, the learning should be active and fun:

  • Visit your public library, and find some new books to read.
  • Check out some of Richmond's many museums or historic sites.
  • Plan a family game night.
  • Go to a park and try to identify some of the plants and animal life.
  • When you go on vacation, visit the local church there and spend a little extra time viewing the statues, pictures, or stained glass windows.
  • Learn something new about the Saint the church is named after.

There are lots of ways to keep our kids' minds (and our minds) active and engaged all summer!
FIELD DAY Needs (VIRTUS TRAINED) PARENT VOLUNTEERS!
Field Day is Tuesday and one of our children's favorite end-of-school year events! We have several different ways you can help...especially with running a game station! CLICK HERE!

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream!
Join us at Gelati Celesti on Monday, June 3rd after the 1:40 pm dismissal for our End of the School Year Spirit Day! This is a great chance for the kids to get together to wish their friends a happy summer and enjoy a delicious scoop of ice cream.
Bonus for the kids: Yearbooks are also released that day so the kids can snag some signatures
Bonus for the parents - it's right after school so there's no coming back into the city.
Bonus for the school - all of our purchases earn us 20% back from Gelati Celesti.
It's a Win! Win! Win!
