DIRECTOR'S REPORT

Congratulations to the Amador Valley Winter Guard programs on their historic finish in WGI Regionals this weekend. The JV team finished as a finalist in the Scholastic A class for the first time in school history, placing 7th out of 16 in prelims and 7th in finals as the only JV team in the division. Our Varsity team brought home a stellar 2nd place finish in Scholastic Open finals, also placing for the first time in school history.

With all the amazing things our students do, did you know 90% of the cost of their experiences in band are covered by parent donations? We are thankful for those who have donated this year. We want to remind all of the families that every little bit helps. If you forgot to donate for marching band or didn't donate for concert band, guard, jazz or percussion AFM is still accepting donations towards our budgeted expenses for the year.

What happens if we fall short of meeting our expenses through donations? Our fundraising goes to cover that difference. We would LOVE for fundraising to pay for much needed replacement equipment, instruments and repairs. Again, thank you for the support. Donate here!

For Amador is our name,
