MARK YOUR CALENDAR - BANDCAKE BREAKFAST, SAT 5.10.25!

This is our annual fundraiser where all AV Bands will perform, pancakes will be served, and raffle tickets and auction items and more will be sold.

Mark your calendars - all AV Band students will need to perform. We need parents to volunteer the day of. We also need parents to help organize this event. Contact Soojin Hwang, president@amadormusic.org, for more info.

AFM General Meeting March 31, 2025 and Announcement of Slate for 2025/26 AFM Board

Our AFM General Meeting will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, 7pm-8:30pm via Zoom. Please use this link to RSVP for the meeting and get a zoom link the day of the meeting.

At this meeting, we will hear from our music directors and board members. We will also be electing next year's AFM Board. The slate is as follows. Note, we will still be taking nominations during the meeting:

Bandcake Breakfast: New Household Goods!

Have new household goods that you still haven't used! Consider donating them for Bandcake Breakfast and help AV Band! Contact Soojin Hwang, president@amadormusic.org, for drop off info.

Our online auctions will need to launch by the end of April so please donate soon! Contact Soojin Hwang, president@amadormusic.org, for more info.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

For the Band to play, we need parent support! Mark your calendars and volunteer for the following events:

May 2 & 3, 2025: CMEA Band & Orchestra Festival @ AVHS

May 10, 2025: Bandcake Breakfast, Band Fundraiser with breakfast and performances by all AV Bands @ AVHS

Sign ups will be shared 2 weeks before the event. We do need core volunteers to help for the music festival with publicity/signs, ushering, director check/in etc, for Bandcake Breakfast with auction/raffle. Contact Soojin Hwang, president@amadormusic.org, for more info.
