DIRECTOR'S REPORT

It's Band Cake Breakfast time. We hope to see you Saturday morning on the quad at Amador for great music, great food and to raise funds for the band.

Congratulations to our bands for turning in wonderful performances at CMEA Festival last week. We are proud of the students and parents for all of their efforts in hosting the event as an act of service to the Tri-Valley music education community.

We are in the home stretch. Remember to eat-sleep-hydrate!

All students who are interested in joining AV Marching Band and Color Guard are invited to the spring workshops! New members, returning members, 8th grade to 11th. Come!! Let's Go Marching Dons!!

AFM General Meeting Date Change

May 19th, 2025 7-8pm

The last Amador Friends of Music General Meeting will be held on May 19, 2025, 7pm-8pm, via video. 

At this meeting:

   -Amador Music directors will recap this year and share what they have in store for next year

   -The 2025-26 AFM Proposed Budget will be ratified

   -Donation ask amounts for the new school year will be announced.

Wind I & II to perform on Tuesday, May 20, Spring Band Concert

Please note this update in concert performances. Wind Ensemble I and II will be performing on Tuesday, May 20th, at the Spring Band Concert. This year, the Collage Concert will be of performances by Jazz bands only.

2025 Senior Ball Corsages and Boutonnières

Senior Ball is just around the corner! If you haven't ordered your corsages and boutonnières you're in luck!! Amador Friends of Music is offering beautiful, custom, professionally made corsages and boutonnieres. Buy from AFM and pay less than most shops with ALL proceeds going to AFM.

Order Here - quantities are limited.  Order deadline is 10 pm Tuesday, May 20th. Pick up at Amador on the morning of Senior Ball (May 24) between 11am and 12pm in the front parking lot near drop off.
