From Our Principal - Congratulations Mrs. Menzies!
For the second year, the Catholic Diocese of Richmond asked each school to submit one teacher to receive recognition as our Excellence in Catholic Education Award nominee. This year, our faculty and staff selected Mrs. Monica Menzies, our Kindergarten teacher, as the nominee from St. Benedict. As many of you know, Mrs. Menzies has been dedicated to Catholic education for many years. As our Kindergarten teacher she prepares our students with: organizational skills; practice following classroom procedures; early reading foundations; development in various virtues such as respect and kindness, and; a strong understanding of faith. I want to thank Mrs. Menzies and all of our wonderful teachers for their dedication to Catholic education.
