Book your family for a 15-minute underwater photo session with Scuba Santa. All those wishing to participate must register for a designated time slot ahead of the event. How to participate in Giving Tuesday:
We are seeking interested individuals, businesses, local clubs, families, and organizations to sponsor a local child or family seeking support this holiday season

The "Friends of the Bristol Parks & Recreation Fund" is a 501c3 partner with the Main Street Foundation that accepts charitable and tax-deductible donations for those wishing to support BPRYCS programming, special events, and new offerings. Donate directly towards a specific program, park, or cause of interest.
Seeking new and unwrapped toys, clothing, and gift cards to support the Annual Holiday Gift Giving Program on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Arts and Culture Center (formerly the Montessori School) located at 472 East Rd. Bristol, CT 06010.

The Caring Closet helps meet the immediate basic needs of Bristol families by supplying diapers, wipes, baby wash, formula and clothing for children. Income eligible families can receive these basic need items free of charge. Give local parents and care providers peace of mind this holiday season by donating basic need items to the Caring Closet located at the Youth and Community Services building at 51 High Street, Bristol, CT 06010.

We will be boarding the Polar Express for our 35th Annual Winter Wonderland! Formerly known as Santa Land's Village, community members can expect to see crafts & activities celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Winter Solstice, New Years, and more! This free family event is open to all ages, and will allow the whole family to explore multiple winter holidays celebrated right in our city! Learn More

61st Annual Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association Conference

BPRYCS staff attended the Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association's (CRPA) 61st Annual Conference and Tradeshow hosted at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center.
BPRYCS were asked to present on three topics:
  • Keeping Afloat - Managing Aquatics Budgets
  • Equity at the Center: Changing Agency Culture through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • The Wrap Around: Bristol's Person-First Approach to Addressing Homelessness and Addiction in Our Public Parks
