PCUSA Mental Health Network |
The United Presbyterian Church of Garden City is a part of the Comfort My People mental health initiative of the PCUSA Mental Health Network.
In SW Kansas, United Presbyterian Church of Garden City will expand mental health support by becoming a "hub" for mental health training and resources for surrounding communities. We aim to reduce mental health stigma, especially within faith communities, by providing quarterly public education on mental health issues over a three year period which include calls to action such as posting resources, training in mental health first aid and suicide prevention, partnering with NAMI, and empowering people to seek professional help without shame. We especially hope to support our communities youth and agricultural workers.
Please continue to check our website www.pcusagardencity.org and the Ministries and Missions page will be updated with upcoming events and more information.
