The Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance (OSBRA)

The Office of Small Business Regulatory Assistance (OSBRA) helps Maryland business owners find timely and effective solutions to issues, so they can go about running their companies. OSBRA wants Maryland businesses to thrive and grow, and to succeed in an environment of trust and cooperation.
 
OSBRA is your business liaison and advocate, working closely with economic development organizations, industry/trade associations, and federal, state, and local government agencies to:

  • Assists businesses with compliance to and adoption of regulations, such as the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act (www.dllr.maryland.gov/paidleave), commonly referred to as Sick and Safe Leave*;
  • Facilitates responsiveness of state government to small business needs; and
  • Serves as a central clearinghouse of information for business assistance programs and services available in the state.

Wolf at Patuxent Research Refuge

The one hour program includes a discussion of family life, habitat, diet, and myths and facts about wolves. Learn about the important role that wolves play in the ecosystem and why we should respect them rather than fear them.
The Greater Odenton Improvement Association, along with the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, the Odenton Heritage Society, and the Central Maryland Chamber, are once again hosting Odenton Day for 2018. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 6th, from 9 AM til 2 PM at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company at 1425 Annapolis Road in Odenton. The Fire Company will also be holding its annual fire prevention open house at the same time. This annual event brings together a variety of community groups, service organizations, and local businesses in a day of fun for the whole family.
