Coronavirus and Staying Healthy

St. Joseph School cares about the health and well-being of our students, staff and visitors and is working throughout the day to keep all those who enter our doors safe.

SJS staff routinely cleans all frequently touched surfaces (i.e. hand railings, handles, light switches, etc.) and encourages students to wash their hands often and use hand sanitizer located in classrooms and throughout the building.
How you can protect your family:
  • Wash your hands.
  • Lead by example. Wash your hands and teach kids to scrub hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, especially after using the bathroom, before eating and after coughing, sneezing or blowing their nose.
  • If you cannot wash, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that has at least 60% alcohol.
  • Note that baby wipes are not designed to remove germs from your hands.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • If you or your child are sick or are not feeling well – stay home.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or with your sleeve.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

They beat out Christ King last Saturday to win the
Notre Dame League Championship!
This is a huge accomplishment given the quality of teams in this
very tough league. Great job girls and coaches!
