Dear Families,

It was wonderful to celebrate our first all school Mass today. Please feel welcome to join us in the future.
Picture Day : School picture day is this Friday, September 6th. Please remember to wear your white uniform shirt and your blue uniform sweatshirt/sweater.

MUSE band: The after school band program, MUSE band, starts Monday, September 10th. Beginning band will meet from 3:15-4:05p.m. and intermediate/advanced band will meet from 4:05-5:00p.m. Your student was provided a flier today or see below for information on registering.

18th Annual Memorial Mass Honoring First Responders : School families are invited to attend the memorial Mass on Sunday, September 8th at 9:00a.m. See information below.

STAR Assessments: Four times per year, in 2nd - 8th grade, your children are assessed in reading and math using STAR Renaissance adaptive software. The first assessment, which started this week and ends on September 13th, sets the benchmark for teaching and instruction. Results will be shared with you during each report card period. The purpose of this standardized testing is to support teaching and instruction for all students.

PTG : The first Parent Teacher Group meeting is on Monday, September 9th at 7:00pm in the school library. Anyone interested in volunteering or becoming part of the PTG is invited to attend this meeting.

Dine and Donate: Mark your calendar for our first Dine and Donate on Tuesday, September 10th at Tomatina. SPN will earn 15% from all food purchased with the flier that was in your family envelope and found here.

Fun Fair : The Parish Fun Fair is Saturday, September 21st. Get your colorful Fun Fair t-shirts for $5 at either the school or parish office. There will be a Fun Fair t-shirts free dress on Thursday, September 19th. Also, do you need volunteer hours? Contact Elizabeth Ferrel if you can help with this fun, community event: ejferrel@comcast.net .
