Principal's Message

Unity is Enjoying the Fun Fair

Dear St. Philip Neri School Families and Friends,

This Saturday, September 21 is our Annual SPN-SA Parish Fun Fair, right here on campus, and we hope to see you all here between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Many of you have graciously volunteered to manage game booths or to help with food or other activities for the day – THANK YOU! Remember that we will again offer Fingerprinting services in O’Brien Hall from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. for any parents who need that for volunteering with students. Thank you, Juana Barajas for volunteering to offer this convenience to our families.

What to expect? It should be a beautiful Fall day where the whole family, neighbors and friends can enjoy many games, win fabulous prizes (including homemade cakes!), have some yummy food and treats, and enjoy each other’s company, what I like to call good old-fashioned fun. There will be face painting, music, and a special adults only Beer Garden as well as Bingo in the Hall from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Meet up with old friends and make new friends. And hopefully you’ve bought your Raffle Tickets– winning tickets will be chosen after the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, September 22.

Remember, students who have Fun Fair T-shirts (from any year) can wear them with free dress on Friday, September 20.  On Saturday, St. Philip Neri School families can charge their tuition account for purchasing wristbands for the Kids’ Zone as well as tickets for food/drinks at the Ticket Booth. We look forward to seeing you all here on Saturday.

Peace & Blessings,

Ms. Thomas

The Fun Fair

Hello SPN Families!

The Fun Fair committee is gearing up for another day of fun for our church and school community! The event will be on Saturday, September 21 from 11am-4pm. This is the main fundraising event of the year for our parish. It consists of Carnival Games, an International Food Fair, Raffle, Pasta Dinner and BINGO! Our entire community comes together to put it on-School Families, Parish Ministries and local businesses!

We need your help! Traditionally, school parents volunteer to run the game booths throughout the day. Please follow the link to see available game booths and shift times and/or to donate cakes or other homemade baked goods for the Cake Walk! This is a great way to get your volunteer hours started for the year! We have also included the sign-up form for presale items like t-shirts, tickets and wristbands.

This is an important meeting to identify specific goals for each student for the school year. Please click the links below to schedule your conference no later than September 27.
